about CafesideMTB
CafesideMTB is being set up by a group of mountain bike riders and trail builders who are working to open a new bike park on the Cafeside site, near Exeter, Devon.
There has been an established network of progressive mountain biking trails on the Cafeside site for over 20 years, maintained by a group of volunteers working in cooperation with Forestry England. The trails feature jumps, drops and technical sections that distinguish them from other trails in the area and are aimed at riders with advanced mountain biking skills and abilities.
These trails have an excellent reputation amongst mountain bikers, attracting visitors by word of mouth, from across the South West and beyond and hosting competition events run by South West Enduro.
CafesideMTB will establish these trails as an official pay-to-ride trail centre by acquiring a licence from Forestry England and running the trail centre as a staffed and fully insured site. We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) backed by guarantee and our aim is to protect, grow and re-invest in these amazing trails and community!

about us
Andy
Taking "hand built" to the next level, Andy can often be spotted forgoing tools altogether, carefully moving and crafting the mud by hand to get that perfect finish.
Ben
Fast downhill, but also very adept at crashing, he's still less likely to hurt himself on a bike than simply walking around the woods.
Jake
Founder of Silk Cycles, Tahnée Seagrave's former lead mechanic, and all round good guy - Gives an A-grade pep-talk when you need it!
James
Train driver and meticulous jump builder. And we don't mean just leading the pack down a trail. Though that's where we always seem to find him, so OK, maybe he just likes to be at the front.
Katherine
Cycling journo and level 2 MTB guide, you’re likely to hear Katherine before you see her on the trails.
Katie
A self confessed blown in to Devon, now permanently making it home due to the people and the riding community here. Can’t keep up with the rest of this crew but love the craic with them too much!
